The public transport company Horários do Funchal Transportes Públicos S.A., located at Madeira island, is collaborating with the team of the opti-MOVES project. The main goal of this partnership is to automatically discover the vehicle’s operations using geolocation data. The main challenge of this collaboration is to assess whether the algorithms developed in the scope of the project are robust enough to be used in a place with complex orography.
